prescription which we can translate for your knowledge"

The One Test Nutritional and Genetic Report you receive back with your test results gives you the power to make better, more informed decisions about your lifestyle choices and what supplements you could be taking to create a better balance in your body.

ONE TEST REPORT

We would all be well advised to make healthy lifestyle choices that are matched to our unique genetic make-up. Armed with the valuable knowledge of your distinct genetic profile, you will be enabled to adopt lifestyle habits and nutritional practices that are best suited to your needs.

The guidelines in the ONE TEST Genetic Report are based on both your nutritional assessment and your genetic results. Please note that the DNA analysis focuses only on genetic features that can be affected by changes in diet or lifestyle; it does not cover genetic diseases that are not influenced by your nutritional requirements.

Your Genetic Results

YOUR GENETIC RESULTS

The table on the following page shows the results of your genetic screen. We took these results into account when drawing up the recommendations in Section 1: Your Personal Lifestyle Report.

How to read Your Genetic Results table:

  • 'Gene name', the first column, provides the scientific name of the screened gene (in abbreviated form).
  • The next column, 'Area of activity', gives the kind of metabolic activity in which the gene is involved.
  • The third column, 'How Common are the Variations', shows how common the variation is - in other words, what percentage of people in the general population have this variation.
  • The last column, 'Your genetic profile', indicates whether you have the variations for which we screened. Genes marked with * merit your attention, either due to the presence of a particular variation or due to not having a benificial variation.
